The Lymington Directory is a truly independent local business that was founded in 2004. Each of our three magazines have a strong community focus and connects local people with local businesses. Over 15,000 copies are distributed per edition!

Our focus is always local and ensuring the content of each magazine is carefully tailored to the individual area. This content includes information on upcoming events, clubs and charities as well as articles written by local experts and establishments such as The Parish council, Church & Community Association.

The magazines are very well established and trusted within each community and we receive a lot of positive feedback – Our Readers value the magazines and enjoy reading them. We are told many keep the magazines from one edition to the next for useful reference.

What People Have to Say

You will be pleased to know that at the Annual Parish Meeting this evening the Village Voice was given an accolade – the whole audience registered their appreciation of the magazine as a great village asset.

The Parish Council

The Village Voice is an invaluable source of contact for the Community Centre. Knowing that every home in the village is informed about Community Centre activities has been really important. The Village Voice is the perfect vehicle.

Sue Whitlock – The Village Community Centre

We both advertise in and receive through the door the Hordle Village Magazine. I always read through each edition the magazine as it’s full of interesting information about what’s going on in the village, other local businesses, information on the school and other local clubs and societies. It is a pleasure working with Jacqui, she is genuinely interested in your business and is actively involved in the communities she supports.

Sophie & Adam Gates – Sophie’s Petcare

The Hordle Community Association would like to thank the magazine editor for the generous space made available to us each edition for highlighting our village activities cantered on the Community & Sports Pavilion.

Ken Gould – Chairman HC

I wasn’t quite prepared for the amount of interest which has sprung from the editions! Loads of comments, asking for workshops and general interest. All my courses now fully booked. St Barbs Museum and Gallery have been in touch to now invite me to a textile exhibition and I’m meeting them next week with regards to running workshops. All this has come about from your magazine. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Just a quick note to thank you for our advertisement in The Lymington Directory. It has been by far our most effective print advertising, producing a steady stream of new clients from small garden renovations to large design projects. The ad always looks great and the pricing is very competitive. We are more than happy to recommend your publication to other local businesses.
